Restaurants and Bars
As you might expect, Lake Union restaurants are led by a selection of seafood dining opportunities, including the famous Ivar’s Salmon House, Chandler’s Crabhouse, and Flying Fish. If sushi is more your style, head over to two Lake Union sushi restaurants — Sushi Kappo Amura and I Love Sushi on Lake Union. Of course, those just in the mood for a good old fashioned steak can head over to Daniel’s Broiler in Lake Union and Eastlake.
Flying Fish is one of several Lake Union restaurants that specialize in exotic seafood from around the world. What makes Flying Fish special is their dedication to fresh, seasonal fish prepared by expert chefs. The menu changes daily and includes fish from faraway destinations like Maine and Hawaii. Ivar’s Salmon House is a cedar replica of an authentic Northwest Indian Longhouse, and even features a full Native American barbecue to prepare the delicious items on their menu. Ivar’s has become famous for their Sunday Brunch, which attracts families from all over Seattle.
From recognized restaurant owners like Tom Douglas and John Howie, to hole-in-the-wall cafes and eateries, Lake Union has plenty to choose from for a great dining experience on any budget.
