Although Lake Union isn’t really known for its libraries, the lakeside neighborhood scattered around Lake Union do boast quite a few places to find books, research materials, and more. Lake Union Libraries are a nice place to spend time during the day and enjoy free access to books, magazines, and other materials. The Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Libraries in particular hosts occasional free workshops and activities for readers and community members.
