Forget the real estate market, land is overrated anyway. Seattleites got an inside look at some of the area’s finest boats and yachts this past weekend at the 36th annual Lake Union Boats Afloat Show. Rows, rows, rows of boats were on display for guests to tour and drool over. Over 200 new and used watercrafts, from sailboats to mega yachts to sporting boats, were anchored in Lake Union for the West Coast’s largest floating show!
Boats of all sizes and price tags could be found during the show, which ran from September 10th through 14th. The Boats Afloat Show wasn’t just for prospective buyers, however. Attractions included sailing lessons, kids boat building, boating seminars, docking lessons, and free children’s lifejackets. This Lake Union event eased the end of summer blues for visitors, especially those who could look forward to next year with a new boat. Check out photos and reviews from sailors and nautical guests:
